Worship and Preaching
Our services of worship are the time of our week when everyone in the congregation joins together and to lift our hearts toward that which carries deep meaning in our lives. Services are about more than feeling good. They are about calling one another and ourselves towards a greater awareness and a greater engagement with the world around us.
I find that services formed using a collaborative model - with input from religious educators, worship associates/lay leaders, musicians, and others - lead to a stronger, more transformative connections. Learning how a congregation relates to worship is an essential part of learning who we are as a people, and this always provides key information about the congregation's identity and history.
